The water at SC is from river ( sungai in Malay ) , that why it is brownish and smell of soil when rain. Where else PH is sea water and smell salty and the color is clearer.

I visited Straits View Residences sales exhibition at Singapore Hilton few months ago. From what I understand from the sales person , there are NO straits view at all. The views are blocked by bushes / trees. Also , the sevice road leading to the estate is poor maintained and dark at night...
