My suggestion to her was to cash out as much as she can before she finally gives up her citizenship. Cashing out this additional 200k now, downgrade & do rental play with the new smaller unit. As mentioned in my earlier post, she hardly even stays there more than mths in a year

Doubt my sis will still be a citizen there in 10yrs time

Asking for my sis who is also a PR here & currently staying here. Her flat in SG is her so called HOLIDAY home when she goes back which is not more than 2 months a year. I asked cos I told her to downgrade to a 3rm & keep the proceeds. How often does one hear of making such profits from a RESALE...

If a resale 4rm flat bought in 2018 at 440k TOP 2013 Resale value today 2023 can easily fetch 650k+ Better to keep or sell & cash out that additional 200k?

This I am sure, not forgetting mainly because of the kids. But then again, what kind of environment & impression are they imprinting in their kid's minds? Their next gen sure screwed up :cautious:

I know quite a few STILL ACTIVE couples who actually mutually agree to sleep apart. They say more space, better rest etc. They still do like what any other couples do but they only sleep apart in different rooms. Oh yes, they're loaded:biggrin:

My neighbour is kinda like the opposite. It's the hubby that's the slacker & the wife supplements everything in the house, including his car & a maid

My neighbour hubby & wife sleep in separate rooms too. Heard from son & confirm by hubby. Understand it has been like this since the kids were like in kinder now in NS liao. Might as well divorce & move on. Cannot understand these people. Marital Status married but actual status SINGLE :geek:
