By just looking at the real-time traffic camera at Tuas is not accurate.. Sometimes the jam is over at m'sia custom side. Esp. on Sat/Sun, the long Q can be as long as 1-2km.. even worst then JB custom

Usually I travel by 2nd link.. There isn't any so-called shortcut.. I usually exit galah patah.. Then at the T-junction, turn right & go straight to NS. After look see look see then go for Bt. Indah jalan jalan

I'm more familiar with ph4 & 5 only.. cos mine is ph5 I used to go to Bt. Indah jalan jalan every 1-2-mths.. & sometimes will go over NS to check their progress
