Well one of the main and biggest barrier is the language....Indians from India speak Hindi...only the Southern Indians speak both Hindi and the Tamil Dialect....while Indians from SG only speak Tamil...... Can you imagine if SG chooses Teochew as the main language for the chinese population...

the decision will be a political one....but i dont think anything can be done.....its just another citizen to them...they will just keep bringing in more.... come 2016 status quo will still be the same unless there are 40% oppositions like Msia.....the coming msia election will be a crucial...
