I think the HSR is the upgrade of current rail track, so probably will not have much land issue. MRT will definitely coming from woodland and end in JB center. MRT from JB center to nusajaya I don't think SG will be responsible for the planning and operation. I think recently SMRT CEO also...

you can ask the runner to register the car under other state number plate with a fee. no issue. however if you use other state's number plate car, other user may think that you are an "outsider", still, not a major issue. but when you want to sell a "W" plate car in johor, the resale value is...

the condos price in JB has sky rocketted. even with the MRT, it doesn't make sence to pay 4K rent for a unit in sky88 and travel daily to SG. I think people rather pay 1.5K-2K and rent a HDB instead. any thought?

in order for zone B to success, goverment need to bring in more business to make this zone alive. the recent JV with ascendas to build a business park is a good start. However the market still untested, we don't know if any MNC or SME willing to locate to nusajaya.

I agree. Jb now is like KL in 2008. doesn't matter what location, just buy in 2008 and all turn out to appreciate even for place like rawang, kajang, klang, shah alam...etc, which distance wise is even further from KL center than places like masai and tampoi to JB center.

Re: Life in JB without a car.. no local will be able to fork out RM3-4K rent for a studio unit in JB or PH. so I think the rental market will be very limited to expat. currently I do not see any expat in JB town. majority of expat will be in nusajaya where the job is.
