    did the management appoint anyone to install the meter? last time when i bought my 1st house the management gave me the contractor contact and I liase directly with the contractor. they came to install TNB meter within a few days. water has no issue since it is direct under management.

    the way I look at it, it is the same as any other condo. it still need to comply with strata title act. the difference is that hotel operator has a huge block of the building and will be a member of the joint management body.

    not too sure about service apartment but I think for strata act building the residence will need to form their management body. then the committee will choose to continue the management service. that will be another contract sign between residence committee and management body.

    electricity issue, you need to apply to TNB(open an account sort of thing). then contractor will install TNB meter to your unit. only then you will get connected to electricity. as for water, since it is a strata building, you pay to the management.

    far far away is subjective. I mean bukit indah is only 15min drive from the city. permas is only 10min drive. if you don't drive, yes it will be inconvenience to travel, but if you drive, for extra 10-15min I don't find it inconvenience located. even add in the car,petrol,parking etc..cost...
