Already gave up on Sg. That's why moving up north. Actually all these sh*ts started quite some time ago when that someone took over the running of Temasick. Everything is about $$$! Only became apparent when internet came along few years ago.

Cannot be helped. 10 years from today, I'm sure those of us living in MY or elsewhere will dread going back to Sg which by then will be very unfamiliar to us, as 70% of the population will be foreign born and foreign food will outnumber local food joints.

I think 10yrs from now, many Malaysians from other parts of MY will be coming to work n live in Iskander as salaries offered will be much higher here and with the convenience of HSR to their hometowns. Not just Johorians only

Re: Living in JB 3 (Johore) Made a suggestion to 1 of my sinkie friend to buy a place in LF with me as he too like the concept, but he replied "I do not want to dress like a beggar everyday just to blend in". Maybe he's saying I'm always dress like a beggar? Ha ha!

Just my take. Please feel free to correct. Probably Nusajaya will do better as it's more exclusive. Habits in old cities tend to be harder to change without really strict enforcement. Eg. like street hawkers will most probably still be around 20yrs from now in JB city thus have not so atas feel...

I think in future many Sgreans would not mind working n living in Johor for 20 or 30% lesser pay with Sg companies or big MNCs moving over, saving the immigration hassle and lower costs but higher standard of living. Malaysia Boleh! 6.9mil will still be their target.

Looks like nowadays our msn is starting to write fantastic things about Johor and not only those negative ones like in the past. Perhaps Temasek is launching their project very soon? Brainwash first sell later. Wonder when they will write about plans for improvement to the jams at the customs to...

Hard to say. Most probably PAP will no longer be ruling Sg by 2035.

    1. Widen the Woodlands causeway by reclaiming land on both sides, triple the no. of lanes and booths. 2. Add third road link. 3. Higher pay to attract more custom officers. 4. Special pass like macs for foreigners invested in MY with a few lanes catering just for them so they can just scan...

Yes, HH is certainly livier than places like LF. Was touring Bayou Water Village about half year ago and was told only 40% stay there permanently, with the rest weekend homes. All Singaporean owners.

Not sure about HH as I'm not vested there. My place in LF will only be ready next year. It's rather quiet there on weekdays now. I think the biggest discouragement for people to move over there now is the unpredictable bad jams at the customs unless they're already retired and their kids...

Agree. Malaysians esp chinese for decades, other than overseas education for their children, do not really spend their money esp. luxury things as they have to be in low profile all the time. Many are really super cash rich. And now with the availability of quality housing with tight security...

Please don't feel like an idiot when you are willingly helping others under whatever circumstances. I can tell your good karma is growing strongly and is showing right now, whether you believe it or not, and the best part is, it will also pass down to your offsprings.

Bro, your're the man! I can understand your wife's unhappiness but I'm sure she also knows your undetered love for fellow human beings despite all their weakness. Normally in MY, I love to park head in too unless parking lot too narrow which will then be easier to park backside in first. No wonder Sg parking lots usually rather narrow compared to MY, as 'they' can screw us from behind cos' we have to park backside in first! Ouch! Ha ha!
