The foreign reserves have fallen to a level that is about the amount the foreigners are the holding in term of Malaysian government bonds. If the foreigners forsake the bonds with capital control lingering, the ringgit will plunge. If that happens, we may get RM5.

Better be safe than sorry. With a stroke of a pen, freehold can be taken back knowing the kind of crazy policies that can be implemented. Capital control is a lingering doubt and depreciating currency appears to have no bottom. Recently, a lawyer from AG Chamber has been deported to Sg even...

So simple meh? RM2m will be out of reach of many Malaysians. So owners will need to depend almost solely on foreigners. But who would pay RM2m for existing properties even with declining ringgit. Developers will need to build bigger houses on bigger land to match the asking price of RM2m and...

Re: Small load move You mean you fine with renting your sg properties and giving away part of the rent for those levies? With increased levies, it does not necessarily reduce the time travelling in and out. If traffic gets lighter, both sides may reduce the manpower to clear the customs...

How can you compare parking in our OR with parking in ulu places in Johore? You can definitely expect a huge disparity in the charges. You cant even compare parking in KSL with parking in OR as they are in completely different league.

Kopi liu can settle anything. The losers will be the buyers, if those are Malay Reserve Land. Anyway it is also mentioned that "lands gazetted as Malay Reserve have also increased to 23,517.37ha this year from a mere 1,921.4ha in 1957." meaning non-Malay land can become MRL?

Those Malaysians choosing to drive to Sg to work and live in JB are the ones that reckon it's more convenient and fast way to travel in and out than renting a room in Sg. $20 entry fee is not much compared to renting and spending money on food etc in Sg. Now they need to reconsider their option.

Your property in S$ will also get cheaper. Anyway, based on history since independant, RM gets lower from 1:1 to now 1:2.58. During the last crisis it hit 1:2.80. Your hope for housing loan getting cheaper will definitely be granted in time to come.
