Has anybody use a water ionizer before? If possible the lower cost range. Can anyone attest to the health benefits as claimed by supplier? It's supposed to reduce water acidity and increase alkaline level.

Sorry to hear of your problems, but this is not Sg. But nevertheless, all is well in the end. Do U mind if I ask something personal? Anybody who has bought a property in M'sia may have similar questions if they intend to sell away one day. 1. Are U subject to M'sia income tax for sale of...

Crystal is right, should test it out first to see if it works for your whole family. We are talking about the whole family having to adjust to life in another country although it may be just across the causeway. If it is 1 person, then it's not too much of a problem.

In a way, we are the obedient lot, we follow law by law, so much so that if we need to make a U-turn, but there is no U-turn sign, we will not do it although it can be done if we dare to, well I guess Singaporeans are brought up this way, at least in our generation...but cannot be said the same...

Talking abt singles, this group contributes a lot to nation building, esp those high earners, yet not well looked after, they got high spending power too. They should be allowed to buy 4 to 5 rm flats, becos they also need the space to look after old parents and a maid. Why restrict to only 2rm...

Re: SG Loan of Msian Loan Better ? Hidden Costs ? Wah, that's a lot of $ just on interest alone. Every mth the house eats up quite alot: RM1650+ maintenance+ water & light, excluding quit rent, reno, cleaning, etc. Do give a thought abt renting it out if U don't intend to stay, can help offset...

I cannot understand why the fuss over owning overseas properties. It's so much cheaper compared to our sky high prices, and don't forget, we, the elders, are planning for our future with the little savings we can afford now. At most, they can fine tune the policy and say U cannot rent out yr hdb...

So if a S'porean reaching 35 yo, isn't it better to buy a condo than buying a hdb flat, with so many restrictions, like MOP 5 yr period? I think it is a silly ruling, how can hdb flat be considered cheap and subsidized if it cost something like 300K to 600K. The whole world is talking abt...

I read somewhere that by 2016, there could be something like 200K units of pte & hdb properties in the market! There has been reports that COV in some areas has come down to zero. Does anyone know where I can get statistics to show each Singaporean owns how many houses today? I guess it's every...

To add further to rental agreement, create an Inventory List, including how many sets of keys, access card, car label (apply more to condo tenant). After tenant move out at term expiry, check all the items against the Inventory List, makes easy work. Any damaged/missing item, deduct from rental...

Good agents or bad agents, share here

We don't really know whether they are good or not until they move in. Good as in prompt payment and taking good care of your house. Bad as in must chase rental every now and then, don't take proper care of your house, esp air con servicing, weekly housekeeping. So it's heng or sway!

Actually I don't know the difference between broker and property agent; I thought these people call themselves 'negotiator' in M'sia.
