By the way, the roads in JB are also full of vehicles. Just try driving around the more popular areas with makan places and shopping malls. Of course the road leading to LF won't be jammed lah.

Remembering Anton Casey's 'poor people' comment. Take heed. Those loads of people on bikes, buses and cars crossing the causeway and second link daily are neither poor problem solvers nor with a low sense of creativity. "Those who have done well in life should always be looking out for...

It is not the driving . It is the 'jamming'. Do tell us that is is hardly a big deal when you have done it for a couple of months. It is a great deal to a lot of people out here. All the best anyway. :)

There is one make-shift wet market near a Petronas where Super Link money changer is. Like a morning pasar malam. You have to go really early at 7 am to get fresh fishes (from Pontian) if you believe the fishmongers. Lots of stuff on sale but not very fresh under the hot sun if you go later...

To be fair, my awning was done by them. They used their own workers for the awning. Service was good and I am rather satisfied with their work. We did not get them to be timber decking though - we lay tiles instead.

Opening the outlets is one thing . Sustaining the outlets for more than a year is another. :) In vibrant BI and Bestari, outlets open and close within a year like nobody's business. It is the same story at Medini too. :)

And no more living in JB ? Tired of jams and JB life ? Jams can be managed rather easily.. Do not go back to sg the usual time as the others . Everyone was going back after holiday break yesterday..sure jam. I came back this morning at 5 am - took about 1.5 hour at the first link. Had a...

Tried already, both breakfast and dinner. The ambience at Trader's Hotel is better than this one. Comparatively, Trader's is better than KSL.

I beg to differ for this one. The Lao and Thai food is nothing to 'shout' about as I visit Thailand yearly. We were served by the lady boss once and her attitude towards us put us off totally. We would not step into that restaurant again for fear of seeing the Empress Dowager. LOL The...
