Think the debate will take a while before they implement.. I bot the SEG unit in Nov 09 also bcos Setia claimed that the gahmen will increase to 500K in next 2 months.. in the end it dragged for more than 1 year before its implemented..

Bro Marineblue911, Thanks for your advise, for my case, the tripping is for the main CB (the one with the test pushbutton) on the ground floor.. The other thing is that the tripping is intermittent hencedunno when it will trip again.. (sometimes half an hr, sometimes more than 5 hrs)

Thanks to all comments.. not sure why it happened since I did not install anything new.. when I am away only fridge & alarm drawing power.. If trip again will inform Setia but expect long troubleshooting process..

Cathy & AP stays in ST.. myself at SEG.. which model did you purchase? Though I am weekender, experienced power outage once last year that lasted 2-3 hrs... You have to decide if you want a water filter at source or outlet..

In singapore, everything is taxed.. for example petrol is taxed 40 cents per litre.. hence for Ron97 though not subsidized will still be cheaper than rm 95 in SIN.. Did a static comparison last year, My water is a quarter of Sg while electricity is half the price..

But My CC annual fee may be harder to waive.. din bother to waive my debit card fee which was 10ringgit..

Bro, is this for the foreigner levy? Setia absorbed this together with the MOT plus other discounts when I got my unit in 09.. EDTBA- Did you have to pay for the levy for Alphenor?

Tot sgp are quite kiasi.. I paid the 6 months maintenance fees when I received the letter but my neighbour who stays there have not paid yet.. Good think Setia, lawyer & bank sends the document to my sg address.. only for water & electrical bill slips are dropped into my JB property mailbox..

Think I did some calculations some time back.. a couple who earns 5K each & paying a 30 yr loan can afford a 570K HDB without any out of pocket cash payments (CPF concessionary rate of 2.6%) However it probably last for 2 generation before it is makan by gahmen.. due to 99 year lease.. So...

HI EDTBA, Not alot of active bros staying in SEG besides us.. cathy & AP stays in Tropika while one bro recently bot Eco Cascadia.. Think for a corner unit, that is a good price based on current unit availability.. Usually it will be completed ard 1-3 months earlier so keep your fingers...

I do have my fair complaints abt the developer Setia which I posted.. However my family & myself really enjoys the trips to SEG.. Too bad I din visit HH in 2009.. else I might up up buying HH instead.. haha

Bro, Thats one reason why I chose Eco Gardens instead of Bukit Indah during 2009.... Though the traveling time to BI is a chore.. (10 mins drive) Hope it feels the same way 10 yrs on..
