The MIW released that the total number of eligible voters is estimated at 2.46 million. I think it's being under reported and the actual figure didn't include all the new citizens.

Out of the 5.4mil total population, my guess is that only 40% are local sinkies. That leaves another 40% as new citizens and another 20% as PR. These could be the estimated reason for all swing of votes. The actual figure of how many new citizen involved in voting for GE2015 has been hidden from us.
