Foreignor need permit to own vehicle in Malaysia meh? I thought anybody can buy and register vehicle in his/her name, just cannot drive long term in Mudland without a local driving license. Anybody able to confirm whether my understanding is right or wrong.

Thanks for the links, will check them out later. Camping in the open is not my kind of thing, so will probably give #1 a miss and if combined with a hike means have to carry all that camping gear and food. Reminds me of 20km route march under the hot sun in Tekong except no helmet and rifle :)...

Discovered restoran tucked in an unknown corner. "Vietnamese" grilled chicken... the green stuff on the rice that usually goes with yaogai (soy sauce chicken) is a tell tale sign that this stuff is not authentic, but it certainly satisfied my hunger... BURP :)
