He has already killed one Ayatollah. There was a deputy Ayatollah that died in a suspicious helicopter crash just before the attack on Iran. And Hamas leader assassinated in Tehran to attend the funeral.
US and israel have been killing leaders of other nation like it's their right.

The leader of the country should be determined by the people of the country. Whether peacefully or otherwise.
The rest should butt out.

Fully agree that leaders should be elected via free and fair elections.

However, in Iran the Guardian Council has sweeping constitutional authority in three main areas:

Hasn't happened in China. Never happened in Singapore. If anything the opposite has occurred. The leaders use the success of a country as justification for ever tightening controls.

The gomen maybe the same. But the people's attitude is different. More westernised. And the gomen reduce it's control but unfortunately in china Xi Jinping reverse the idea.
In Singapore, PAP fear a Malay takeover. Hence it stand somewhat as Guardian for the chinese in the Malay archipelago.
