I cannot believe the lack of talent in the PAP if the PM says that raising or maintaining population levels is a "global phenomenon" for which no one really knows the reason why, nor does anyone have a solution. I believe that PM Wong is the only person in SG who does not know the reason! The reasons for not having children here are plenty: extremely high cost of living, lack of job security, poor work-life balance, stagnant wages, overpriced and small homes, inability to afford a car etc.

The "stability" is for the Ministers who pay themselves an annual salary that is enough to feed a typical S'pore family for a lifetime. There is also no competition from foreign talents for their iron rice bowl jobs. With more than 1 GCB to their name, these Ministers are set up for life, which includes a pension.
