How come subway sandwich doesn't look like this.

Go KL we want to eat nasi lemak, roti canai, satay, nasi kandar, BKT, etc. Why eat in that italian place?
 
majority of cured, salted and dried meat for italian panini are pork. non halal. not for muslims in kl.
 

Subway Sg is halal. The Italians would feel insulted if they came to know of an 'Italian sandwich' served with fake salami. Cured ham is a national treasure.

Even the Americans scoff at the fake ham and bacon dished out by Subway here. Not to mention fake luncheon meat.

The roast beef is real. Plus the sauce is not like that used in Italian sandwich.

Haven’t been to Beauty World Food Centre in a while, and I noticed quite a number of new stalls by young hawkers.

But this particular one caught my eye because the dish was created by MasterChef Singapore Season 2 winner Derek Cheong (I last met him when he delivered his self-made kombucha to my place. Years have passed!).

Berempah Bros focuses on a single idea and works variations around it. You may ask, “Is this Nasi Lemak?” Somewhat, but not quite.
