The drone caused a fire in the Romanian apartment building, forcing residents to flee - Reuters
The US has promised to defend “every inch” of Nato after a Russian drone struck an apartment block in Romania in the most serious incursion into the alliance’s territory since the Ukraine warbegan.

Two people were injured and 70 were evacuated after the drone smashed into the 10th floor of the building in Galati, an eastern Romanian port city on the Danube.

Romania scrambled two F-16 fighter jets and a helicopter to monitor further hostile unmanned aerial vehicles, and alerts were sent to residents in nearby areas.
