Absolutely, just that he should display his talent with more fanciful pop music, including English and others.
I'm sure he can do it just that he chose to play obiang songs all the time.

To me is a big waste of talent.
 
The best pianists usually have other band members, and they don't do it for free.

Although our youngest child has achieved the Royal Conservatory of Music professional qualifications for two instruments, prior to enrolment at university, he decided not to pursue music at university or as a professional musician, and he told me that to be a financially successful musician, you have to be not only an outstanding musician, but the audience must like you.
For example: Yo yo Ma, Taylor Swift, ...
