Chitchat S'pore Grab driver puts sign saying he only speaks Chinese to Chinese people, no English

Very simple. Just converse with him in a mixture of Mandarin and English. Eg. "你可以走CTE, 然后 exit Havelock Road吗? Also,你的aircon可以make it higher 吗? Recently, 天气 damn 熱 man!" That's what I'll do and see how he will react.
