I think since around the 1990s, the HDB started giving new flats of an estate some fancy atas name. For example, prefix of town's name + Vista/Ville/Heights/View etc.

Eventually this cringe pretension reached its peak with names like 'Pinnacle @ Duxton' and 'Skyville @ Dawson'. :biggrin:
