Celebrated the third day of Chinese New Year at the Spring Reception co-organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre 新加坡华族文化中心 and 新加坡宗乡会馆联合总会 Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations earlier today.
Chinese New Year is a time to renew friendships, strengthen bonds, and reflect on the year ahead. This year marks the Year of the Fire Horse – symbolising independence, endurance and forward momentum. In a rapidly changing global environment, these qualities will be important as we strengthen our resilience and continue safeguarding the peace and stability that Singaporeans cherish.
Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year.

The 45th iteration of Exercise Cobra Gold in Thailand has concluded. This annual multilateral exercise remains a longstanding and vital platform for enhancing the SAF’s professionalism and deepening cooperation with our international and regional partners across multiple domains. Our 217-strong contingent worked alongside seven other participating nations to sharpen skills in joint operations dealing with a variety of threat scenarios, ensuring our forces remain ready and capable.
Singapore continues to be a reliable partner through its active role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations. Our personnel coordinated military responses to a simulated disaster and assisted the construction of a masonry building for a local school in Nakhon Ratchasima. These efforts underscore our commitment to regional stability and professional excellence.
Well done to all participants and for flying the
