This season is it a record of number of managers sacked.
N. Forest scored a hat-trick of manager sacked.

EPL is a brutal league.
Is there a season where no manager is sacked??
Every season 3 teams are relegated, Wolfs, Burnley, West Ham which managers will be sacked if relegated. Top teams never get into Euro competitions also vulnerable.

Is Man United still considered a top team?
They think they are, so every season they sacked a manager.
Unlike mid table teams, can survive relegation consider well done to the manager and if they perform better most likely better teams ply away the managers.

Sacking of managers also common in other leagues, not just EPL. Rennes sacked their manager, Marseiile hired him to replace their recently sacked manager. :o-o::confused::biggrin:

If Burnley and West Ham are relegated, both managers will be sacked. When Wolves are relegated, their manager may not be sacked.

I've just had a quick look at the FIFA World Cup Finals Group tables and I'm praying for a USA vs Iran grudge match in the knock-out stages.

Potentially, this could happen if both USA (Group D) and Iran (Group G) finish runners-up in their respective groups. However, if the war drags on for weeks, the most likely outcome will be that Iran pulls out of the competition completely.

Probably will draw more viewers than the Final itself and perhaps even in FIFA World Cup history.

Used to have Iran's footballers in EPL, now zero. Few in Belgium, rest of Europe also zero, except Turkey. Many players in Russia and Middle East Countries.
After the bombing of many Middle East Countries, what will happen to the Iran players?

Iraq will replace Iran. An older grudge match.:eek::tongue:

PL teams so dominant in the CL groups stage but collapsed in the knock-out stage.
Few teams considered out after first leg, Atl 5-2 Spurs, Gal1-0 Liv
PSG 5-2 Che, Lev1-1 Ars,
New 1-1 Bar, RM 3-0 Man City.
Newcastle result is more respectable, they almost win the game. Don't think they can win against Bar at home.
Chelsea and Man City need to do a 'Liverpool Miracle'
Arsenal should be able to overcome Lev at home.
Liverpool is so unpredictable, it 50-50.
If all PL teams are knocked out, Starhub can consider lower the fee for PL streaming.

Arsenal should win at The Emirates
City still have a fighting chance but if RM score at the Etihad it will be over.

Spurs should just focus on surviving the PL. Serious risk of relegation.
