The mother and daughter chose the wrong place to cross the road. They knew the driver was going to turn into their path, as it was a one-way street. Normally, drivers are too focused on oncoming traffic from the left. I believe CECA didn’t realize she had already hit someone and that the child was under her car. She accelerated, thinking the BYD lacked power and needed a push. The mother should share the blame.
The CECA driver can blame BYD.

A family of tourists from Indonesia was involved in a fatal accident on 6th February 2026 at around 11:50AM at South Bridge Road
The 6 year old girl unfortunately passed on subsequently at the hospital
Rest in peace to the 6 year old and all prayers goes to the family and friends who were affected by this accident
