Yes you are correct about him. And I actually meant the opposite of what I said. He's definitely not brilliant (cotton comes from sheep), articulate or handsome. He may appear more sincere and trustworthy than Lawrence Wong (according to some forumers), but I feel he should've remained in the military. He's not cut out to be a politician.

These generals have never proven anything. If they were truly high potential, they would have horizon-scanned and predicted the rise of robot warfare tech and got ST to work on it, before the Ukrainians got to it. It isn't much of a stretch of imagination to do this. Now Ukraine are World Class and we are low class. Each NSman should be issued a drone but not happening.

The PAP regime likes to replenish its ranks with recruits from the SAF and NTUC. These two organizations are the two legs of the PAP ruling class. And people from the SAF or NTUC almost always get the fastest path to becoming a full minister.
