Portfolio-building for young kid

She raised $250000 when she was 10 years old

Highly-paid daddy is a Director in a social service agency. It appears that he is running the show, tapping on his network and giving the credit his daughter to build her portfolio to be the next NMP or scholar.

This one is a he or she?
daddy. his company never flagged him for tapping on his network (at workplace) to sponsor his family's endeavor in private capacity.

According to the straits times article, the fund raising were conducted online, even raised a two hundred thousands during PSLE.

Basically parents did the job and re-badged under her name/kindness. It appears to be a long-term plan to put her into some awards or scholarships that went overboard/over-sized.

This is bullshit PR

The media said she started thinking about the poor when she forgot to bring wallet to school one day. This is too much bragging. If a rich kid gave this reason and donated a few hundred thousand, he still deserves our respect.

However, this little girl needs to run over 60 fund-raising campaigns, it's like my country is so dysfunctional.

if she is from Cambodia, i would think that she is running a scam.

Straits Times using this kind of shitty content to masturbate our society, or the journalist too naive? What is Straits Times trying tell us? If the little girl is truly so noble, my MSF civil servants is truly flawed.

Of course, many young people make 5-digits every month working in charities or starting one. Having a good track record entices MSF to provide grants. Charities can get a 20% cut to pay their "management and expenses" for the $$$ they raise.

This family is gaming the system and they overkilled and anyone who thinks critically will be laughing behind this bloated resume.
