Large crowds are expected in the vicinity of Orchard Road on the night of Christmas Eve.

Large crowds are expected in the Orchard Road area on Christmas Eve.
SINGAPORE – People planning to go to Orchard Road on Christmas Eve should be prepared for big crowds and heightened security measures.

Some roads in the area will also be closed.

From the evening of Dec 24, police officers, auxiliary police officers and security officers will be deployed to manage crowds in the Orchard Road area, said the police on Dec 22.

Crowd control barricades and directional signs will be put up to facilitate safe and orderly crowd flow.

Isn't that how you celebrate Hari Raya? My Indonesian maid said that her father, brothers and husband hunt and consume wild boar back home. Why do these Muslims eat pork from boars?
