The chipmaker’s chief executive, Jensen Huang, met with President Trump last week to discuss exporting the powerful chips.​



The Trump administration plans to let Nvidia export its H200 chip to China, the latest twist in the artificial-intelligence chip designer’s efforts to maintain access to the world’s second-largest economy, according to people familiar with the matter.

Sources, including White House AI adviser David Sacks, report that China is turning away from Nvidia's H200 AI chips in favor of advancing its own domestic semiconductor industry. This strategic shift aims to achieve self-reliance and counteract the U.S. strategy of providing "lagging" technology to hinder China's technological progress.

Biden and trump killed leading edge US industries by banning its sales to one of the worlds largest market. China decided after the move not to Use US products anymore. In fact, trump stopped GE from supplying jet engines to china's C919 planes, which he retracted after china stopped export of rare earth metals.
