She nagged so much even her body could not take it.
How is that even possible? That’s such a tough situation emotionally for everyone involved. Sudden hearing loss can completely change a person’s behavior and priorities. A clinic that offers professional ear wax extraction told me they sometimes see people who think they’ve gone deaf overnight, but it’s actually an obstruction. It’s always worth ruling out simple causes first before assuming permanent loss. Still, empathy and support from loved ones go a long way no matter the diagnosis.
