I was slim as a young man, but as age caught up and after I suffered a knee injury that put a stop to my weekend football, running and tennis, I inevitably put on weight even though I cut back on my meal portions.

This happens a lot to female celebrities who make hay while the sun shines before age and weight gain put an end to their careers. They never had the time to put into building a relationship while in showbiz, and after their career is effectively over, the men around their age or older have mostly settled down with someone else.
