Reason why i prefer nasi goreng kampung to chinese fried rice.

Chinese fried rice has a kind of blandness.

Nasi goreng kampong on the other hand captures a myriad of basic flavours and contrasting textures like eg, pitting sliced cucumber against crispy fried anchovies.
And tinged with spiky chilli padi against the blandness of rice
 
You should try Japanese fried rice, nice smoky wok hei and proudly not halal. :cool:
