So u need special care, make sure no lice hiding in the mattresses and pillows

No red stains.
Now I'm trying to figure out if the mites is living on skins kind or living on objects.

If it is those living on skin ones, they are contagious. And need treatment.

If is on objects ones, then need to leeplace or clean the objects.

To be on safe side, I washed and leeplaced the bedsheets, and sprayed pesticides on the bed frame etc.
Same time I treated myself with mites lotion, in case it gets transmitted to my close contacts.

I think likely is mites. If itchy area is like bumps then likely allergic reaction.
Can take loratadine or piriton to ease itch and bumps. Clarityn or zyrtec over the counter.
 
I wash my pillow case once a month, bedsheet and blanket twice a year.

How often you wash your hair?
 
Bedsheets and blankets in sg weather.
Once a month is maximum u can stretch.
