The special privileges of the then New Economic Policy in Malaysia were included in the constitution to last for 15 years from independence; they were also limited to certain sectors so that the Malays could catch up with Chinese Malaysians economically. It has been extended indefinitely simply because the Malays have not caught up owing to their own weaknesses such as laziness and their lack of drive as well as intellect. The continued admission of educational opportunities in professional courses in govt universities to unqualified Malay students continues to infuriate the minorities. Young and educated Malaysian minorities see no way out of this official racial discrimination so are seeking better prospects overseas. The same will happen in S'pore as the PAP favours foreigners whom they welcome readily as new citizens, and the Little Red Dot has become far too overcrowded.

Now the brighter and smarter students are the descendants of the newly minted citizens.

You can erect whatever policy you like ... but you cannot deny the fact that some Race are smarter than another Race.

There is no other country in the world except Malaysia where there is a 2-tiered pricing for property for the majority race and minorities who are both citizens. Non-Malays have to pay 10% more for a home than Malays since the developers will want the same profit margin. After Malaysia's independence, racial minorities accepted that there was a need to give disadvantaged Malays a massive leg up. The biggest problem is that wealthy and influential Malays exploited discriminatory policies to their own benefit. Corrupt Malay elites accumulated obscene wealth while these policies have not raised the standard of living of poorer Malays that affirmative action was supposed to help. The SG govt's discrimination of its own citizens in favour of foreigners has its own consequences.

If umno had not urged the minorities to leave, michelle yeoh would not be famous.
Lip Bu Tan would not be intel CEO.
Hock Tan would not be broadcom ceo.
Ronny chieng would not be famous comic.

So you admit that Chinese Malaysians prospered in spite of the racial discrimination which shows their resilience.

The racial discrimination in Malaysia is enshrined in the country's laws. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may, to ensure in accordance with Clause 2 of the constitution, reserve to Malays and natives of Sabah and Sarawak, positions in the public service and scholarships as well as educational privileges etc. Scholarships and other educational privileges are reserved for the bumiputras. The racism is institutionalised in Malaysia, which is worse than apartheid was in South Africa. In S'pore, the govt openly allows discriminatory policies against true blue citizens in order to attract foreigners to make SG their new home. There are already more than 650,000 Indian nationals residing here.

There are an estimated 1 million Malaysian-born migrants in the world. Those 25 years or older
number about 844,000. Of these, about 455,000 are high-skilled i.e. completed tertiary education.
