Body of woman, 40, found in swimming pool of Bukit Timah condo, no foul play suspected

Police investigations are ongoing.

The body of a 40-year-old woman was found in a swimming pool on Sep. 24.

Police confirmed with Mothership that they received a call for assistance regarding a suspected drowning at 45 Hume Avenue at around 6:15am.

The location is the address of Symphony Heights condominium.

An SCDF paramedic pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

According to the police, preliminary investigations do not suspect foul play.

Investigations are ongoing.

A Mothership reader said that police officers were seen at the location until the evening on the same day.

Symphony Heights condo TOP 1998. Those days, condo pools can be 1.7m. Only from around or after 2010s, the pools got shallower for safety reasons. Some pools are only 1.2m deep, which is a fucking joke.

Symphony Heights pool starts at 1.2 meters and goes up to max of 1.5 meters.... What kind of person can drown in such pool.. Appears poor lady was quite short and total naive in swimming... One must never go deeper side if not 100% confident especially at odd hours when no one can help in case of EMG.
