20 years ago year 2005 what are u working as?now year 2025 leh???

20 year ago I age 35, work as office worker in a private sector. Now I self employ
 
2005 to 2024, I was working the same job with many different companies, drawing about the same salaries.
But over these 20 years, I saved up most of my earnings and accumulated over a million with those salaries. And leetired when I reached 55.
 
20 years ago I was 27, worked as a production assistant in a MNC.

Now 2025 in this highly jobless era .. I am still gainfully employed with a full time permanent job working in a MNC :D

This few years I saw young people graduating from reputable local universities working as cabin crews or hawker assistants.

I think it’s important for young people to study a skill based technical certificate or diploma that enables them to find jobs use this skill for the next coming 20 years :tongue:

It happened too back in 2000 DotCom Bubble til 2003-4 SARS, then again in 2008-10 and 2020-22 Covid

Where got use?I have many friend poly diploma in engineering. But become insurance agent.
 
20 years ago I held an orange CHAS card. 20 years later I hold a blue CHAS card.
