Can he vacate his tough job so others can apply? Think Jeremy Tan & Chee Soon Juan failed their application to Parliament, they can work twice as hard without whining.
 
I have always advocated that we must continue to pay my ministers obscene among of money and only stop when they call uncle.
 
His "work" only involves attending MPS and parliament sessions, doing photo ops and typing on FB. If you want him to do more, then you have to pay him more.

There is a better chance of snow falling in S'pore than any PAP politician turning down money until he/she shows tangible results.
