Gaza is nothing but a big prison. You cannot leave or trade without Israel permission that may take months. And you will be shot at if you exceed 6 km from gaza shores.
October 7th was a fight to independence and self determination.

Hamas don’t want independence. Find a mention in Hamas Charter that mentions these things - “Palestine”, “State” and “independence”.

I believe 700 people in isrseli military uniforms were killed on October 7th.
It was s classic blitzkrieg. Go in early hours, overcome the military posts and return with hostages. Before 10am hamas already completed its mission. Unfortunately as the fence were breached, other militants entered into israel and created havoc as they had no strategy nor plans like hamas but to pillage and carnage.

They tried peace talks but Israel was not really serious. The brw settlement in west bank remains making nationhood difficult.
Having said that, both gaza and west bank should be two separate nations if it becomes independent.

Yes.lets finish this once and for all. Last few battles istael lost. Against hezbollah lebanon mostly. Then calls for ceasefire which israel never honour.
