Thai girl nearly couldn't get her Singapore citizenship so asked PAP MP to help...songbo?

Looks to me like one of her parents is a Singaporean if I am not wrong and didn't her Singaporean parent apply her Singapore Citizenship when she was born? Abit confuse...

The smart Thais won’t want citizenship only PR is good enough. But as you mentioned she’s got a parent who’s Thai so reverting back in future after milking sg benefits is not hard also. FTs always got a backup plan

Seriously, why in the hell would she wants to give up her Thai citizenship for SG citizenship? As a Thai citizen let's say in the middle class, you live in gated Freehold Semi D community with your own garage (way better than those leasehold landed houses in SG), she can own land and have landed properties all under her name and cost of living is much lower than in SG and the standard of living in Thailand is definately way better than in SG (useless of course you are the 0.01% ultra rich in SG). I am pretty sure if Thailand is willing to do a straight up exchange of citizenship between SG and Thailand, alot of Sinkies will be snaking around the block for Thai citizenship.
