My old friend sold his Semi-D (bought for $40K+ in the 1960s) for over $5m.
His 2 kids (0 level clerks) and 3 grandkids (ITE elites) are all dependants.
Now I'm invited to their new 16 floor HDB housewarming, bought for $1.4m
The eldest kid has a new merc and looking for a condo.

Eldest kid unless he earn his keep, no need for merc. Buy a EV van. Can sleep in car. With Aircon on all night. No need house.
