[Sg video] - How does this motorcyclist's video cam move like a drone from driver to in front of the driver?

Probably using a 360 cam

Yes, but even with a 360 cam, how can the cam appear to float (like a drone) from the motorcyclist's perspective, to moving to a few meters in front of the motorcyclist and facing him (in the 2nd half of the video)?

Let this AMDK explain to you:

Gopro 360.
This cyclist uses it too

There's a difference though. In the AMDK's case, the cam is in the same position, it's just that it swivels from facing forwards to facing backwards. In the Sg case, the position of the cam appears to actually move (like a drone) from the motorcyclist's perspective to in front of the motorcyclist facing him. How to explain that?

Ita the position of the selfie stick.
On the ang moh cyclist, its placed at the front of the bike.
On the biker, its on the handlebar.

Selfie stick can be made invisible, according to videos showing how to use this type of cam. So it appears to be floating. Cam can do also panoramic, sweep different angles etc.

The rider's using a 360 camera on a stick that gets removed in editing, making it look like a drone shot. I’ve seen this kind of footage shot with cameras from insta360.com — the software auto-tracks and smooths everything, so it feels like the camera is flying around. You can swivel the view around easily after filming, which is probably how he got those forward and backward angles.
