We know Air India's maintenance is subpar. But the fuel cutoff levers were turned off: the 1st officer saw it and questioned the Captain: "Why did you cut off the fuel supply?"

Yes, captain said he did not do it. But why did the 1st Officer ask in the first place? The fuel cut off switches must have been off.

Nonsense. If the chip faulty how come the switches were turned to run position after 10 seconds of being turned off.
