I use old school ezlink card that shows balance or apple pay google pay, so far no overcharge
 
how many expired cards with money inside when the owner forgot and threw away the card?
 
Why are you guys still using SimplyGo? Just use the normal Ezlink that show the value. Anything recommend by the PAP, DO NOT USE IT!! That is the rule.

Anything PAP reject it, you USE IT FORCEFULLY!!!. That is how you become problem-free and safe in Sinkieland.

i apply this to vaccine, cpf, medisave, etc.
