Nam Kee Chicken Rice Restaurant was founded in 1968 and served delicious Hainanese Chicken Rice. A family-run business, now managed by the 3rd generation, prices have skyrocketed and the quality of the dishes is neither authentic nor traditional any longer.

The oldest and only known Nasi Padang restaurant , the Rendezvous Restaurant from the 50s

amazing food

in its place stands the Rendevouz hotel now , but it was a colonial building where the restaurant was , only ceiling fans , just across the Cathy building , always crowded
They moved to Raffles City for awhile

As for pizzas, there were Shakey's and Milano. Shakey's was my favourite. But at that time, I couldn't afford to eat there.
Milano’s quality and service varied a lot coz its was stall by stall owner franchise. My favourite was the one at holland village ran by an old couple. They gave their free home cooked soup for diners

jubilee bunkus, but Islamic still is in a very small shop lot by one of the founders son who is married to Penoy, so the standard also have gone south

I use to meet another son in Brunei ,also had a restaurant under Islamic name ,horrible food

Yes jubilee was the goat there amongst the others but they first to closed up. There’s one in Bukit Batok later though not sure if related to the old
