Nightlife is too expensive in Singapore

Empty bars, high prices and early nights: Singapore's dying nightlife could have wider repercussions

The most recent available data from the Singapore Department of Statistics showed that operating revenue for pubs, night clubs, discotheques, dance clubs and karaoke lounges in 2022 stood at S$284.7 million, a far cry from the peak of S$674.7 million in 2015

This cannot that cannot. Even Orchard Towers was denied the chance of being a safe space for adult nightlife. How to have vibes?

CNY also no vibes. Even the faggots' Pink Dot has been reduced to a shitty 'pasar malam' event.

Under the rule of godless, soulless, control freak PAP technocrats, there can be no good vibes.

Taiwanese told me KL night club even more expensive. Ridiculous level for a third world country. Sinkie, second. Taiwan and Japan a lot cheaper mostly because drinks are cheap but girls too. Not sure about rents.

can go nightlife now means wallet thick thick money many many .... next day can go work late and bochap bosses ... this is now history for locals. Expats and FTs maybe still can do that .... but they most probably TT back all the SGDs earned here back to their home to buy land and build new houses. So nightlife other than attend Funeral Wakes at HDB void decks is a thing of the past now. :whistling:

Fewer XMM Chiobu and more single LaoBu?

Nightlife in Singapore can get really pricey, no doubt. But I once checked out a spot like 신림줄넘기—private rooms, chill atmosphere—and honestly, it felt worth every cent. Sometimes paying a bit more for a relaxed, personal vibe beats crowded clubs where you barely get to enjoy yourself. It’s nice to have a place where you can just kick back without the usual noise and chaos, especially when the rest of the city feels so expensive.

Soapland is around $200 vs Gheyland Cheekon Rice set

But to Be fair, covid lockdown more or less detoxify most drunkard and they now indulge in cycling.

The majority of S'poreans have low purchasing power because everything is simply too expensive here. Much as up to 80% wish to not be cooped up in their HDB pigeon holes, 92% do not own a car, have not many places of entertainment to travel to, and once they get there, find goods and services far too overpriced. We really have a low quality of life here in SG.

What do you expect from Coolie genes sinkies? Even high FTs find the fucks here expensive. Fly to Bali, Pattaya or HCM can ejaculate into 3 different holes for price of one time in Sinkieland.

Few can afford this high life style

Why are S'poreans not getting much bang from our buck? Our land scarcity drives up the cost of real estate, making both the rental and purchase of a home extremely expensive; this is the biggest component of a household's expenditure. To manage traffic congestion, car ownership is too expensive for up to 92% of residents here. A small country like S'pore also relies heavily on imports for many goods, which drives up prices owing to shipping and logistics costs.
