A British Council survey asked over 6,000 people aged 18-34 years in Brazil, China, India, UK, US and Germany to rank the 15 top economies on the basis of 2 questions: which of the following countries do you find most attractive for making personal contacts and friendships and which 3 of the following countries do you find most attractive as a country whose people can be trusted? Unsurprisingly, Indians emerged right at the bottom of the list with only 6% rating Indians as both "trust worthy" and worth "making friends with".
