A helicopter carrying 7 people, including the pilot, crashed in the Gangnani area of #Uttarkashi district on Thursday morning, with casualties feared.

The chopper, piloted by Capt. Robin Singh, had taken off from Sahastradhara helipad and was en route to Kharsali. There were six passengers onboard, four men and two women, all Indian nationals.

Initial reports suggest the crash may have been triggered by India’s own electronic jamming systems activated by mistake. Investigation is currently underway.
