PM Wong is not as stupid as he looks. He understands the situation, recognising the older ministers' slower thinking that comes with age. He needs to forge ahead and avoid being held back, but must also treat the old guard with respect and avoid being overly assertive. SG needs to move forward rapidly. LW must focus on the present to secure the future, and cannot afford the old minister's constant look back on the past; he must drive progress or everyone will stagnate.
if you watch the 3am press conference by Ah Wong, I still have some hope he would be more humane than the useless son Ah Loong.
