    Thanks bro. I have done transfer using DBS and also CIMB Sg to CIMB My; mostly for small amount or for urgent cash, specially CIMB since it's instant. But I still find the MCs give better rates. So, for larger amounts, I'll go to the MC.

    DBS Msia Remit rate wasn't very good today; didn't touch 3.05 even though RM dropped to a new low of 3.0781. Having said that, it's really not environmentally-friendly to send a hardcopy statement for each transfer; I received 3 hardcopy statements for 3 transfers done last week.

    You're welcome; this was shared to me by Crystal. The excellent rate is the main reason, convenience, safety and avoiding fake RM notes are bonuses to me. Same here; I'm doing dollar cost averaging this round. I only change $1000 every time the rate is higher.

    I perform the transfer around 4.50pm yesterday with the rate of RM1=S$0.3292 and I just checked; confirmed full amount is in without any deductions. The DBS portal will ask for the foreign currency that you want to transfer and then show you how much SGD will be deducted from the DBS bank...

    Yes, transfer from DBS SG to a Malaysia bank account. No need to activate and the transfer can be executed online by login into your DBS/POSB account and select Transfer to Overseas Account, Remit to Malaysia. Dunno how they can offer so good; but you can check the rate in the POSB/DBS...
