The affidavit must contain certain stipulations and it has to be signed by a notary public. It is necessary to remember that a Panama electronic document is not considered as evidence or legal in any way whatsoever. It is merely a confirmation that the information contained in it is true and correct. There are some circumstances where the government of Panama might accept the sworn statement as evidence of citizenship. However, the mere production of the record will not help one obtain legal standing in the country.
