I just posted the same article at another thread. I'm a daily commuter and I'm shaking my head at this news. What a nightmare to execute this and a nightmare for all 400,000+ commuters.
This is just going to make the jams even worse. I can't imagine how people will have to leave their vehicle to get their fingerprints scanned in that small tiny lane. All in the name of security...
I just checked causewayjam.com and the traffic back to JB at this time (5.00pm on Thurs) is still so jammed over at Causeway. I guess the RM20 has not had the impact on traffic movement as some (including myself) had anticipated.

I think it might be tough on your kids to take public transport across the border every morning. I wanted to recommend Century Bus (school bus service) but I just realised they only ply JB and Woodlands/Sembawang/Yishun areas. If you have the flexibility to work from home, is driving your kids...
