Hi, anyone collected keys for EL phase 3B yet? Heard they are releasing or have released keys to some units this week. How's the quality? Hope all of you have a good week ahead.

Well said. I made good money on 99 LH property in SG. However, SG and Iskandar may not necessarily be compared in the same light as the latter has a lot more land. Though if one is going for yields, 99 LH property will be higher as Psf is lower. Tenants don't bother whether they are renting a LH...

I hope not and don't think Billionaire Lim will pull out since the sultan is a petrol head. Not good to aggravate the royal when he has other projects in Iskandar.

I can't agree more! Apparently, the expats who are living in Johor are spreading the word to their friends in SG. Word of mouth is a powerful media. My colleague was joking that at the british club, he gets loads of questions about living in EL and all he wants is a quiet night to enjoy his beers!

Hey IR, I can confirm your travel time as it takes the same time for my expat colleague to get to work. He stays in EL and work place is in town.

I have an expat colleague who has been living there for a year and recently decided to purchase a semi d in EL. He told me he personally knows at least 15-20 expat families in EL andLH alone. Many more will be moving there soon over the next 12 months. All home owners and in high paying jobs...

HeyIR, as always, very thankful for your useful links. I think for many who are thinking of buying a place in Nusajaya, this blog has become a useful resource for them. The reasons for picking up a home in Johor have been compelling to say the least. For me, it was just too difficult to ignore.

HeyIR, that's a really good summary. Not forgetting that Peter Lim will be injecting billions for various projects. He certainly is no fool and an astute investor. I believe many will follow his entry to Iskandar very soon
